Respecting and supporting children
In my opinion the most important point of teaching mathematics is actually to discover the charm and the ease of the matter when with respect to the study speed of an particular student. I believe in believing in each and every child, the fact that everyone has the ability to comprehend and do the mathematics exposed to her or him. I feel that the role of lesson is to equip every learner with abilities and good sense to function and develop in the general public. As a result of this, I prefer to deal with my students with respect and to be just as supportive as possible in the learning process while stimulating them to investigate extra ways of thinking and new ideas and standards. I will definitely note every individual student's needs reasonably of things that is possible and what tools are available in the classroom. I will anticipate to put in as much or more time and effort as I anticipate from my learners. I will accept that I need as much to find out annually as my students, and I will be flexible enough to accept critical remarks and open to new techniques of educating in an attempt to reach all learning styles.
Mentoring and learning together
I view my position at this stage as an authority figure, far likewise their actual school teachers are, but also as a supplementary source of encouragement and help. My position is that of a guide just because I don't teach the whole day day of lessons as my chief teacher does, hence I can be a resource the scholars may choose to receive additional help as well as can rely on when it comes to encouragement. My role is also that of a scholar, so I view myself as a prolongation of my learners, I am definitely learning through them what it means to be an excellent maths tutor.
The strategy I apply
Compared to lots of tutoring groups in Caversham, during the normal school year, I actually represent the data which the student gains in his/her classroom. In other words, I don't demand that students do extra worksheets and assignments that are not actually involved in the student's maths lesson, but rather, I coach the child in sectors of his/her maths class that can be actually hard as clarity and intensity of understanding, applying of models, and test-taking strategies.
